Abercorn Farm is a regenerative two acre market garden in its third year of growing, nestled in the County Wicklow countryside on the grounds of Belmont Demesne. Join us on Sunday 6th September at 11am for a guided walk through the growing operation, followed by lunch in the field with chef Pam Chalecka (Babysis).
The Farm Walk — 11am
Walk the full growing operation, from our propagation tunnel — where we start over 50 varieties of vegetables from seed — through the outdoor beds and polytunnels, including our unique cherry tomato varieties. Along the way we'll cover our seeding schedule, bed building, soil health, and season-extension techniques. A rare, honest look at regenerative, intensive market gardening in the Irish climate.
Lunch with Chef Pam Chalecka (Babysis) — 12.45pm–2pm
After the tour, join us in a purpose-built event tent on the grounds of Belmont Demesne for a long table lunch prepared by chef Pam Chalecka, known to many as Babysis. Pam has spent the summer running a series of dinner pop-ups around seasonal produce and Irish ingredients, and we're delighted to welcome her to Abercorn Farm for this one-off lunch. Expect a set menu built around what's in season!
